Before you begin, note the Navigator button (bottom-right).

This is your command control, giving immediate access to:

The Navigator button is the steering mechanism of your Validus experience.

This feature becomes available once you reach Grand Standing, ensuring that only trusted and verified members can access sensitive search parameters.

You can filter members by:

Your network forms your trust graph — the core system that determines your Standings, visibility, and long-term value inside Validus.

Who you can invite

Invite only individuals whose judgment, conduct, and professional integrity you would personally vouch for. This includes:

• Professional peers you respect
• Business partners and collaborators
• Investors, founders, and operators you’ve worked with
• Executives or advisors whose work ethic and reputation are established
• Colleagues from prior roles with proven reliability
• Leaders who uphold responsible entrepreneurship
• Members of your personal board of trust — those you would confidently introduce to others

Each invitation is an endorsement of character and competence. Your network shapes the strength of the wider Validus ecosystem.

Step 3 — Unlock access through network thresholds

Step 4 — Use your Directory & Circles

Your Directory is your private intelligence system.

You may:

• Add private notes to each connection
• Create Circles (e.g., “Family Offices”, “Cybersecurity”, “Capital Providers”)
• Add contacts to multiple Circles

This is your personal relationship engine within Validus.

Step 5 — Develop your communities

With 50+ trusted connections, you can create your own Community.

Navigate via:

Forum → Create Community

Choose:

• Private (invitation only)
• Public (visible across Validus)

Lead your ecosystem with precision.

Step 6 — Attend or host events

Events are an essential part of your trust graph. They deepen relationships, surface opportunities, and strengthen the wider ecosystem.

How to participate

1. Navigate to Events → Attend to join upcoming gatherings.
2. To create an event, go to Events and click “+” on the Navigator button.

Hosting and attending require 10+ trusted connections — preserving integrity and ensuring meaningful participation.

Smart follow-up & matchmaking (for events with 50+ guests)

For larger events, Validus activates Intelligent Matchmaking & Trust Acceleration, giving every member a precise and meaningful outcome.

After the event, you will receive:

Curated recommendations — based on your trust graph, interests, and business objectives, Validus suggests:

• High-alignment founders, funders, and operators
• Individuals who share verified expertise relevant to your profile
• Guests who interacted with similar topics, industries, or communities
• Leaders who received positive trust signals during the event

These recommendations are not generic. They are derived from verified behavioral data, prior connections, and trust dynamics.

Establish trusted connections in 3 clicks — Validus reduces networking friction with a structured, secure process:

1. Open Event Matches (sent after the event)
2. Review profiles with trust scores, shared affiliations, and mutual connections
3. Click “Establish Trust” to create a secured, verified connection

This creates a trust-based relationship immediately — no guesswork, no cold outreach, no noise.

Strengthen your trust graph — every event connection:

• Increases your Standings progression
• Enhances your credibility score
• Expands access to communities, opportunities, and higher-level rooms
• Signals responsible engagement within the ecosystem

Step 7 — Navigate the Validus Nexus

Bottom center button — available for Pioneer Standing and higher.

The Validus Nexus is the strategic command layer of the platform.

Once you reach Pioneer Standing, you gain the ability to:

• Publish announcements

Including personal milestones such as joining Validus, new roles, achievements, or strategic updates.

• Make or request introductions

Enable trusted, context-rich connections across the network.

• Submit business & investment opportunities

Share verified deals, mandates, partnerships, and capital opportunities with the right audiences.

• Share social initiatives

Support philanthropic efforts, civic leadership, or community-driven causes.

• Share strategic updates

Communicate relevant intelligence, sector insights, or high-level developments.

The Validus Nexus is where trusted leaders shape the direction of the network and surface opportunities for the entire Validus ecosystem.

Step 8 — Your Digital Twin

Your Digital Twin evolves with your input.

Train it with your:

• Preferences
• Criteria for opportunities

It supports:

Step 9 — Uphold the Validus Code of Conduct

• Visibility across institutional networks
• Greater influence and trust signals

Step 14 — Manage your notifications

Validus offers precise, configurable notifications, accessible via the Side Bar Menu.

You can enable or disable notifications for:

• New connections
• New chats
• New events
• New posts
• New opportunities
• Community activity
• System updates

If your notifications are not working properly:

• Check your phone’s system settings and ensure notifications are allowed for the Validus app.
• If issues persist, reinstall the app.
• During sign-in after reinstalling, make sure to allow notifications when prompted.

This ensures uninterrupted awareness of new opportunities and trusted interactions.
